An electronic picture frame for outputting linked image and audio, and a method thereof are provided to display an image to the electronic picture frame while playing an audio file which is linked to the video file. An image file in the storage is displayed to the display unit(S301). It is searched that the linked audio file to the image file exists in the storage(S303). If the linked audio file exists, an audio sound is outputted(S307). The image is displayed un the playing of the audio file is finished(S311).
