<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent running-out of hot water and to improve efficiency of heat pumps without exceeding the maximum demand power of contract facilities, in an operation method of a hot water storage-type hot water supply system having a heat pump-type water heater. <P>SOLUTION: This operation method of the hot water supply system comprises a step (S2) for calculating average electric power, a step (S6) for predicting the maximum demand power of the facility by every split time of demand time period, a step (S7) for comparing a predicted demand value Pp with a target demand Pmax, a step (S9) for calculating the corrected predicted demand value Pp(n) in stopping n heat pumps, a step (S19) for comparing Pp(n) and Pmax, and deciding the minimum number n of stopped heat pumps in a state that Pp(n) is not over Pmax, and a step (S12) for stopping the n heat pumps. Thus running-out of hot water can be prevented and the efficiency of the heat pumps can be improved without exceeding the maximum demand power of the contract facility. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
