<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a modified product from heavy hydrocarbon feedstock. <P>SOLUTION: The process comprises (a) the following steps of modifying heavy hydrocarbon feedstock, including (i) supplying particle heat carriers to an upper part stream reactor, (ii) introducing heavy hydrocarbon feedstock into the upper part stream reactor on at least one position on the particle heat carriers so that a load ratio between the heavy hydrocarbon feedstock and the particle heat carriers is from about 10:1 to about 200:1, wherein the upper part stream reactor is operated at a temperature of about 300-700°C, and (iii) causing interaction between the heavy hydrocarbon feedstock and the particle heat carriers with residence times of less than about 20 seconds to produce a mixture product containing a product stream and particle heat carriers; (b) separating the product stream from the particle heat carriers; and (c) obtaining the modified product from the product stream using a reduced pressure tower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
