COMPOSITE POWDER, USE OF THE SAME IN MOLDING METHOD, AND MOLDED PRODUCT MANUFACTURED FROM THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite powder which contains different powder layers to use in a method wherein electromagnetic energy is introduced to melt selectively their respective regions for layered molding, a use of the same powder in a molding method, and a molded product that is produced from the same powder to have a light weight and a high elastic modulus.

SOLUTION: The composite powder comprises at least one polymer powder and an expandable glass particle. The composite powder allows to manufacture a molded product by a good reproducible method, and the product thus obtained is high in strength with respect to density.
