<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitizing dye 4, a photoelectric transducer comprising the dye and a complex compound comprising the photoelectric transducer which is utilized in a photoelectrochemical battery such as a solar battery. <P>SOLUTION: This complex compound (I) is obtained by causing a compound represented by Formula (II) [abbreviated as compound (II)] (wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>each independently represent an alkenyl group substituted by an aryl group which may contain an acid group, or an acid group etc. and a, b and c each independently represent an integer of 0 to 2 and satisfy the equation: a+b+c≥1) to coordinate to a metal atom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
