<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch type input device having a display which seems to be larger than the actual size and to enable a user to easily confirm that a device side recognizes a touch operation when the user touches an input area formed on a display adjacent surface. <P>SOLUTION: In the touch type input device 30, a touch panel 31 covers the whole surface of a display 22 and the display adjacent surface 23. Back light type buttons 32a to 32d can be recognized from the surface of the touch panel 31 when LEDs 42a to 42d are turned on at the display adjacent surface 23 side. The visibility of the back light type buttons 32a to 32d is changed by the touch operation of the user. Then, the user feels as if a display is larger than the actual size so that the user can easily confirm that the touch type input device 30 recognizes the touch operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
