PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner recovery device capable of preventing image failure by conveying recovered toner which is highly likely to agglomerate, without clogging a connection part, in the process in which toner remaining without being transferred to a transfer material is cleaned off and the recovered toner is conveyed to a recovering container. SOLUTION: Toner remaining on an intermediate transfer belt is recovered by a brush roller to which a bias is applied, and is taken into an intermediate transfer belt cleaner container. In order to convey recovered toner that is highly likely to agglomerate while crushing it, a toner crushing member 50 is disposed in an opening 80 used for receiving and transferring recovered toner conveyed from the intermediate transfer belt cleaner to the recovering container. Vibration is applied to the toner crushing member 50 by deforming the member. This prevents the recovered toner from agglomerating and blocking. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
