PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize face detection information when AE/AWB, or the like are performed in PC development processing and when adjusting brightness and colors which are noticed for the face of a person in a recorded image by a reproducing device with respect to desires in which a user wants to photograph a person easily and beautifully and wants to look at the person beautifully. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus detects the face of a person in an optional photographed image, performs adjustment, such as AF/AE/AWB, and when recording image data into a recording medium, adds face position information obtained by a face detection function to the image data to generate and record the image data as one file. These reproducing device and imaged image processing system execute image processing using the face position information added to the image data by using application software when reproducing and displaying the recorded image data by a PC, or the like.
