PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time-shifted reproduction system which can automatically perform time-shifted reproduction when a TV channel is the same as the channel of broadcast data being timer recorded. SOLUTION: In the time-shifted reproduction system 1, when a TV broadcast receiving device 11 is powered on while timer recording is performed by an HDD recorder 12 as set up in a timer recording control portion 14 and the channel received by the TV broadcast receiving device 11 is the same as the channel of the broadcast data being timer recorded, a time-shifted reproduction control portion 16 outputs a time-shifted reproduction command signal to a reproduction control portion 15 and, at the same time, outputs a display data selection signal to a display data selecting portion 13 to instruct it to select broadcast data to be reproduced by the HDD recorder 12.
