PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar speaker device capable of effectively emitting sound in a necessary direction while maintaining a flat configuration and efficiently transmitting sound energy to an audience by making a diaphragm light in weight. SOLUTION: In the speaker device comprising the diaphragm having an almost planar vibrating surface and a driving means for driving the diaphragm, the diaphragm has an unequalled shape in which at least a portion of a perimeter has a notched part.
