PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion device easy to manage machining, inexpensive and highly economical, while easily gaining cushioning property as desired. SOLUTION: A plug storage hole 21 is formed in the center of the shaft end face of a piston rod 13 opposed to a bottom 11a of a cylinder 11. In the plug storage hole 21, a plug 19 and a coil spring 26 for energizing the plug 19 to be protruded outside the plug storage hole 21 are stored. In the protruded end face 23 of the plug 19, a groove 24 is provided to form a throttle flow path 27 which adjusts the amount of oil flowing between the plug 19 and the bottom 11a of the cylinder 11 when the protruded end face 23 abuts on the bottom 11a of the cylinder 11.
