PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for a driven body capable of suppressing a loss of the hydraulic pressure of an accumulator and securing the hydraulic pressure of the accumulator as much as possible by recovering part of the hydraulic pressure supplied to the hydraulic chamber for driving the driven body. SOLUTION: This drive device 1 drives the driven body 8 by hydraulic pressure, and is provided with; the hydraulic chamber 12 for driving the driven body in a drive direction by the hydraulic pressure of the accumulator 11 supplied via a hydraulic pressure supply path 13; a hydraulic pressure discharge path 14 connected to the hydraulic pressure chamber 12; a spring 15 energizing the driven body to a return direction; and an open close valve control means 2 controlling operations of open close valves 16, 17 for opening and closing the hydraulic pressure supply path 13 and the hydraulic pressure discharge path 14. The open close valve control means opens the hydraulic pressure supply path 13 and closes the hydraulic pressure discharge path 14 for driving the driven body, and close the hydraulic pressure supply path 13 and closes the hydraulic pressure discharge path 14 at predetermined timing after the driven body begins to be displaced displacement to the return direction.
