VEHICLE HAVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any luggage in a luggage compartment from shifting over a seatback partitioning the luggage compartment and a passenger room in order to protect the safety of occupants in a head-on collision even in a low-floor vehicle. SOLUTION: A bench seat 7 having a seatback 8 partitioning a luggage compartment 2 and a passenger room 4 is provided in a vehicle having the luggage compartment 2 in a rear part. The bench seat 7 is fixed on a pedestal 11 provided on a floor plate 10. A part of the floor plate 10 behind the pedestal 11 forms an inclined surface 10a which is inclined downwardly. A wheel chair fixing member 15 (a luggage shift regulating means) for regulating the forward shift of a luggage 40 placed on the inclined surface 10a in a head-on collision is projectingly provided on the inclined surface 10a.
