PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve for molds which eliminates the need of the operation of removing parts of a product solidified within the gate in a molding treatment of injecting a molding material into a mold through a gate and can contribute to reduction of the environmental load and improvement of the working efficiency. SOLUTION: The valve for molds is mounted in the gate for injection of a molding material into the mold and includes a fixed portion 104 fixed to the gate, a valve element 105 arranged in a movable way with respect to the fixed portion 104, and a spring 103 which is arranged between the fixed portion 104 and the valve element 105 and supports the valve element elastically so as to close the gate with the valve element 105 and switch the gate from a closed to an opened state when the flowing pressure of the molding material flowing through the gate causes the valve element 105 to move against the elastic force of the spring 103.
