PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool which can upgrade the positional visibility of a working tool in reference to a member to be worked, deal with issues such as miniaturization and space saving, and improve the efficiency of cutting work. SOLUTION: An illuminator 70 has an LED (light emitting diode) 75 mounted on a first saw cover part 23 which constitutes a saw cover 40 together with a second saw cover part 30. The second saw cover part 30 has a through-hole 30a and a notched part 30b, and the through-hole 30a has an inserted optical fiber 77. In addition, the optical fiber 77 is fitted into the notched part 30b, and one end 77A of the optical fiber 77 is arranged almost opposite to the LED 75. On the other hand, the other end 77B of the optical fiber 77 is directly opposed to the outer peripheral edge part of a circular saw blade 21 on the other side surface 21B side.
