PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printer wherein a cable group can be safely arranged in a squeegee head. SOLUTION: This printer 10 comprises: a squeegee head supporting frame 83 which is provided movably with respect to a frame member 16 with a fixed mask 71; the squeegee head 80 which is guided ascendably/descendably with respect to the squeegee head supporting frame 83; a squeegee head lifting/lowering mechanism 82 which is equipped with a motor 89 installed in the lateral side of the squeegee head 80, and which makes the squeegee head 80 ascend/descend in the direction of being brought closer to/isolated from the mask 71; and a squeegee 81 which is provided in the squeegee head 80 in such a manner as to be ascendable/descendable in the direction of being brought closer to/isolated from the mask 71. The cable groups A and M, which are connected to the squeegee head lifting/lowering mechanism 82, are arranged on the surface, different from a surface where the motor 89 is arranged, of the squeegee head supporting frame 83.
