PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ligature forceps allowing a person other than the skilled person to easily, accurately and quickly ligate. SOLUTION: The ligature forceps constituted to drivenly open/close first and second movable sections 14 and 15 in the opposite side of arm parts by opening/closing a pair of arm parts having finger insertion parts around a pivot part, are provided with locking sections 14d and 14e (and/or 15d and 15e) for removably locking a suture at least to either one of the both movable sections 14 and 15, and a groove section 14e (and/or 15c) for retaining the locked suture at a prescribed potion of the first movable section 14 (and/or the second movable section 15).
