LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

A liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof improve the lowering of image quality by equalizing the time of charging a pixel data voltage between front liquid crystal cells and rear liquid crystal cells. A liquid crystal display includes an LCD panel(110), a data driver(150), an interception circuit(151) and an interception control circuit(200). A data driver alternates the positive polarity with the negative polarity in the polarity of the pixel data voltage supplied to the liquid crystal cells for at least two liquid crystal cells. The interception circuit selectively interrupts the pixel data voltage outputted from the data driver. The interception control circuit controls the interception circuit to equalize the time of charging the pixel data voltage between liquid crystal cells with the same polarities which are adjacent each other.
