<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health appliance capable of reducing the number of sensors, etc. for sensing the operation of stepping parts without requiring a power means for driving the stepping parts, being manufactured at a low cost and reducing the frequency of malfunction. <P>SOLUTION: The health appliance comprises first and second stepping parts 1 and 2 which are oscillatably attached to a body 3 in such a way that the first and second stepping parts can be independently tilted forward or backward according to the movement of feet of a user, and sensing means for sensing that sensor parts 4a and 4b mounted in the first stepping part 1 and in the body 3 respectively approach each other. The health appliance also has an output part 5 for outputting the frequency of sensing by the sensing means and the result of calculation based on the frequency of sensing. The output part 5 outputs the frequency of sensing as once when the sensor parts 4a and 4b of the first stepping part 1 approach the sensor parts 4a and 4b of the body 3 from the front or from the rear and the approach is sensed by the sensing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
