<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-reflecting adhesive tape capable of providing, when used for wrapping a cable, a product wrapped therein having a high level of heat reflection, and, at the same time, a flexibility more than that of the existing product wrapped in a known adhesive tape. <P>SOLUTION: A heat-reflecting adhesive tape 1 for wrapping an elongate material such as, in particular, a conductor and a cable harness includes: a tape-like substrate 2 composed of an assembly comprising at least one first layer 2a formed by a glass woven fabric having a basis weight of 30-200 g/m<SP>2</SP>, and at least one second layer 2b formed by a metallic layer having a thickness of 10-40μm and a thermal effectiveness to SAE J2302 at 350°C of greater than 45°C; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating layer 3 applied at least to one side of the substrate 2. The heat-reflecting adhesive tape 1 has flexural rigidity both in its longitudinal and transverse directions of less than 500 mN, preferably less than 300 mN (as measured by a Softometer KWS basic 2000 mN manufactured by Wolf Co., Ltd.). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
