PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide function-improving installation structure of an air conditioner outdoor unit, capable of improving heat exchanging function in the air conditioner outdoor unit and improving the cooling efficiency of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: The upper part and sides of the air conditioner outdoor unit 10, installed in front of an outer wall of a building, is surrounded by plants 14 cultivated in a cultivation container 12, by disposing the cultivation container 12 at each of the upper, left, and right sides of the air conditioner outdoor unit 10; while as the cultivation container 12, one having a cultivation bed part 34 for storing potting compost 32 and a water retaining tank part 38, disposed below the cultivation bed part 34 for storing water 36 supplied to the plants 14 grown in the cultivation bed part 34, is used.
