PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can prevent the excitement and enjoyment of games from being lowered even when the game is controlled to the jackpot game mode difficult in acquiring a large number of prize balls. SOLUTION: A lower start hole is integrated with a ball entry device to shorten the standby time for stopping the variable display of the first and second special symbols when either the 2 round variable probability jackpot or small win is triggered with the second special symbols as compared with that when the 2 round variable jackpot, the 2 round non-variable probability jackpot or small win is triggered with the first special symbols. When either the 2 round variable probability jackpot or small win is triggered, a prescribed performance is executed without indicating that the 2 round jackpot and small win is triggered. This enables the shortening of the standby time at a higher rate as required for players, when the game mode is unchanged before or after the 2 round jackpot and small win to make players difficult in comprehending that the 2 round jackpot and small win is earned, thereby preventing the excitement and enjoyment of games from being lowered.
