PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of achieving shortening of warm-up time of a heat roller and performing efficient heating. SOLUTION: The fixing device 11 is equipped with the heat roller 12. The heat roller is equipped with base material 21 formed in cylindrical shape, a sheet heating element 22 covering the surface of the base material, and a power feeding part 11i. The sheet heating element is equipped with a heat generation part comprising a plurality of linear conductor patterns 26 arranged at equal intervals in parallel with each other and extending in the shaft direction of the base material, and a first conduction part 25 and a second conduction part 27 constituted at both ends of the linear conductor pattern and conducting to the linear conductor patterns. By applying voltage to the heat generation part coming into contact with the power feeding part through the conduction part, the heating generation part generates heat. The power feeding part relatively slides in contact with both conduction parts when the heat roller is rotated. In the second conduction part, the corresponding power feeding part is set in an electric sliding state over the linear conductor patterns of the predetermined number. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
