PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of improving cost reduction and heat insulation. SOLUTION: This refrigerator includes a heat insulating box body 10 having: an inner box 12 the front of which is opened; an outer box 11 covering the outside of the inner box 12; a foam heat insulating material 13 filling the space between the inner box 12 and the outer box 11; and vacuum heat insulating panels 21, 22 disposed between the inner box 12 and the outer box 11 the interior pressure of which is reduced by covering a core material 25 with an envelope material 25. The vacuum heat insulating panels 21, 22 are formed into U-shapes in a section to cover the side surfaces and the back of the inner box 12 by bending. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
