PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent remote control device capable of appropriately remotely controlling a television set while utilizing wireless communication, the television set, and a remote control system. SOLUTION: When a wireless remote control device 400 transmits a reception level information transmission request to the side of a television set 300, the television set 300 continuously redirects reception level information of a channel that is being set at present. The wireless remote control device 400 displays the received reception level information on a display unit 401 and notifies a user about the reception level information as a sound from a speaker 402. Since the user is enabled to confirm in approximately real time a reception level in the direction of an antenna at present through five senses of ears, eyes and the like, even at a place away from a television receiver, the user can easily perform adjustment work for bringing the direction of the antenna for a television into an optimal state by himself/herself.
