PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dimensional accuracy of thickness of a metal plate by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A rolling mechanism 20 having a first and second rolling rolls 16, 18 for rolling the metal plate 14 is arranged in the inside of a casing which comprises rolling equipment 10 and, by detecting the thickness of the metal plate 14 rolled by the rolling mechanism 20 by a thickness detecting element 26 and controlling a brake mechanism 22 on the basis of detection signals from the thickness detecting element 26, the rotation of the first and second rolling rolls 16, 18 is stopped.
