Kit-of-parts containing (i) a dental device for use in the obturation of a root canal which comprises a tapered obturating point portion integrally connected at the distal end of a functional portion, whereby the functional portion comprises (a) a neck portion adjacent to the obturating point portion, and (b) a handle portion, and (ii) a dental sealant composition, wherein the dental device is made of a material obtainable by curing a composition containing one or more curable components contained in the dental sealant.
