The connecting method involves connecting an encapsulation casing (2) with another encapsulation casing, where every casing has fluid space. An active element (5a,5b,5c) of an electrical power transmission device is arranged within one of the fluid spaces. An overflow channel (8a,8b,12a,21) between the fluid space of the former encapsulation casing and another fluid space of the latter encapsulation casing is opened after a connecting the former encapsulation casing with the latter encapsulation casing. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement.
