The locking device (10) has a rotatably mounted locking hook (12) that can be engaged and disengaged with a corresponding counter bearing (14) to lock or unlock the convertible vehicle hood. The locking hook can be moved by a locking mechanism actuated by an actuator and a cast element is provided to which the locking hook and/or the locking mechanism can be fixed. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle with a folding roof and an inventive locking device.
