<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a term relevancy dictionary compilation device for easily preparing a term relevancy dictionary even from a document which is not associated with any term. <P>SOLUTION: A term relevancy dictionary compilation device 100 is provided with an association control part 200 for compiling a term relevancy dictionary 10 configured of a term definition table 110 in which terms and the definition of the terms are stored so as to be associated with each other; a use word table 120 in which words used in the document are stored; and a relevancy data table 130 in which the relevancy data of the words and the terms stored in the term definition table 110 are stored. The association control part 200 is provided with a word extraction device 210 for extracting words from a document file; a use word compilation device 220 for compiling the use word table 120; a term definition compilation device 230 for compiling the term definition table 110 and a relevancy data compilation device 240 for compiling the relevancy data table 130.
