<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of transmitting information from a television company to a user. <P>SOLUTION: An information transmission side 1 is equipped with character information automatic sending-out facilities 2 which transmit a character signal and audio notification facilities 3 which transmits an audio signal, and an information reception side 5 is equipped with a television 6 which displays video/audio information and an audio receiving terminal 9.
