<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a market information collection system capable of performing market researches about commodities at low cost and including selection causes of customers in the researches. <P>SOLUTION: An information center is provided with a means for generating a two-dimensional bar code image representing a customer ID based on a user registration request and transmitting it to an information terminal of a customer, a means for storing information, which is about the customer ID and a commodity ID of a commodity selected by the customer, received from a shop device, a means for transmitting a questionnaire about the commodity to the customer and collecting it, and a means for summarizing and outputting information about the commodity and the questionnaire. The store device connected to the information center via a communication network is provided with a means for reading the customer ID from the information terminal of the customer, a means for reading the commodity ID of the commodity selected by the customer, and a means for transmitting information including the customer ID and the commodity ID of the commodity selected by the customer to the information center.
