<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic display device which can be easily manufactured and of which the design can be improved, and a method for manufacturing the electronic display device. <P>SOLUTION: An opening portion 7 is formed on the side face of a cylindrical casing body 5. An electronic display body 3 is stacked on the inner surface of the casing body 5 to close the opening portion 7. Spring members 12 are attached to the inside of the casing body 5 in an elastically deformed state. The spring members 12 are stretched and held on the inner surface of the casing body by elastic restoration and press the electronic display body 3 to the inner surface of the casing body 5. Thereby, only by restoring the elastically deformed spring members 12 on the inside of the casing body 5, the electronic display body 3 can be held in the casing body 5. Further, a screw or the like for fixing the electronic display body 3 to the casing body 5 is made unnecessary, so that the design of the display device can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
