PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to set photographic image quality based on a plurality of items that the user desires to preferentially take into consideration. SOLUTION: A digital camera includes a TFT liquid crystal display 21, which display a plurality of parameters corresponding to a first item associated with the image quality and a plurality of parameters corresponding to a second item different from the first item and associated with image quality; and a CPU 12 which performs processing for displaying information of a use item as a third item adaptively associated with a photographic functions or output of image data to a combination of parameters of the first item and second item, processing for displaying a plurality of parameters, corresponding to a use item as a fourth item different from the third item and adaptively associated with the photographic functions and output of image data to a combination of the parameters corresponding to the first item, the parameters corresponding to the second item, and the information of the third item, and the like.
