<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain improvement in quality of modem communication only by providing a probe within a base (local network) and only by simple enhancement obviating a modem communication signal detection circuit for each TA or each switch, regarding a modem communication stabilization system and modem communication stabilization method attaining improvement in quality of modem communication for a terminal within the base connected to an IP network. <P>SOLUTION: A modem communication stabilization system is equipped with a probe and a terminal or a switch. The probe is connected to a network within a base connected to an IP network, monitors a packet with a terminal within the base as a transmitting/receiving destination and transmits, to a terminal of the receiving destination or a switch accommodating the terminal, by setting modem communication to a portion to set a quality status of a packet when the modem communication is detected. When a packet with which the modem communication is set to the portion for the quality status, is received from the probe, the terminal or the switch sets a receiving buffer size large and transmits/receives following packets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
