<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight which is constant and stable even if the LEDs constituting an LED module for a backlight of an LCD have different electrical resistance/impedance. <P>SOLUTION: An LED driver with a control device for driving current stabilization is used to solve the problem, wherein the control device is composed of a current feedback circuit and a current compensation circuit. When the backlight system is operated using the current feedback circuit and the current compensation circuit, a current is fed through LEDs of one column, one current feedback unit, and one current compensation unit, to generate a voltage; the voltage is compared with a set-up voltage; and the current is controlled to be the set-up current by compensating the current based on the results of the comparison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
