<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater of a constitution where a negative pressure is hardly applied to a tank, by improving draining the performance of a pressure relief valve outlet pipe. <P>SOLUTION: This storage water heater comprises a hot water storage tank 1 for storing hot water heated by a heating means 7, a pressure relief valve 2 disposed at an upper portion of the hot water storage tank 1 and allowing the pressure inside to escape, a pressure relief valve inlet pipe 3 for connecting the hot-water storage tank 1 and the pressure relief valve 2, and the pressure relief valve outlet pipe 4 for making the pressure relief valve 2 and the atmospheric air communicate. The water drainage performance can be improved, and negative pressure is less likely to apply to the tank by improving the shape of a distal end portion of the pressure relief valve outlet pipe 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
