PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driven valve wherein a can into which a high refrigerant pressure in a valve chest is applied has an improved pressure resistance. SOLUTION: The motor driven valve 1 comprises a valve body 10 having the valve chest and a valve seat 62 formed therein, a valve element 61 for contacting/leaving the valve seat 62 to adjust the passing flow amount of fluid, the cylindrical can 30 fixed to the valve body 10 and communicated with the valve chest 12, a motor exciting stator 2 mounted on the outer periphery of the can 30, a rotor assembly 8 to be rotationally driven by the stator 2 in the state of being rotatably supported on the inner periphery of the can 30, and a feed screw mechanism 1c for converting the rotation of the rotor assembly 8 into the contacting/leaving operation of the valve element 61 on the valve seat 62. A top portion of the can 30 is formed in a domed shape, and a supporting member 300 is provided separately from the can 30 for supporting the rotating shaft of the rotor assembly 30 at its end on the top portion side of the can 30.
