PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing structure of a vehicle capable of exerting an excellent shock absorbing effect by utilizing shock absorbing characteristics of fiber-reinforced plastic. SOLUTION: A crash box 7 wound circumferentially round by a plurality of layers of a carbon-fiber band 7b is disposed inside a shock absorbing member 5 of the vehicle 1 so that the axial direction is almost orthogonal to the action direction of the shock load. The crash box 7 is configured so that delamination occurs in the range of the direction almost orthogonal to both of the action direction and the axial direction of the shock load for an input of the shock load exceeding a predetermined range.
