PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine for an automobile provided with a fluid discharge structure capable of efficiently discharging fluid in an inside of the engine to an outside in a short period of time with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This engine is provided with an engine main body 2 having a fluid passage 7 therein and having a communication hole 8 making the fluid passage 7 communicate to an outside air formed thereon, and a closing member 3 attached to the engine main body 2 to close the communication hole 8 of the engine main body 2. The closing member 3 includes elastic material, and is provided with a closing assembly 50. The closing assembly 50 comprises an inner wall part 51 formed in a pad shape on the engine main body 2, and a seal part 52 elastically sealing and engaging with the inner wall part 51.
