PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in mass when cooling a supercharger. SOLUTION: In a supercharger 1, turbine impeller 3 is housed in a turbine housing 4 constituted of a casting of cast steel. An outer shell 20 constituted by processing a metallic plate to the outside of the turbine housing 4. The outer shell 20 is divided into an exhaust gas outlet side outer shell 20A and a compressor side outer shell 20B. Between the outer shell 20 and the turbine housing 4, a cooling medium passage 21 in which cooling medium flows is formed.
