PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the effects of pressure fluctuation and ensure performance by forming the arc diameter of the inner circumferential surface of a side-cut portion of a side-cut fan as an arc diameter different from an initial arc diameter which forms an original inner circumferential arc surface of an air channel. SOLUTION: In this side-cut fan, the communicating part of the air-channel inner circumferential surface arc of the inner surface corresponding to a predetermined cut-off portion of a venturi peripheral surface is forced as a large smooth shaped surface which smoothly extends while gradually changing a curvature, towards the arc surface on a discharge port side from a portion near both ends of a linear end edge on a suction port side through a tilted conical surface; and a smooth shaped surface towards the arc surface on a discharge port side from the linear end edge on a suction port side of an inner surface of a side-cut portion is formed to be circumferentially symmetrical.
