PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which has well-balanced storage property and low-temperature fixing property of toner, can maintain a high fixing rate even at a low fixing temperature, is excellent in strippability from a fixing roller, hardly causes deterioration of image quality such as fogging and is excellent in printing durability too. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner contains colored resin particles including a binder resin, a colorant and a release agent, wherein the release agent: (1) isα-olefin polymer made by polymerizingα-olefin monomer having the number of carbon of at least 10; (2) has one melting point (TmD) defined as the temperature at a top of a peak in a DSC curve according to differential scanning calorimeter (DSC); (3) has half-value width of the peak of 10°C or less; (4) has weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 5,000 to 10, 000; and (5) has molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 1 to 5.
