PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device equipped with a push-pull gauge and an adapter for push-pull gauges capable of improving measurement precision in a measurement early region by enlarging displacement for a load. SOLUTION: The measuring device 1 for at least measuring load variation for vertical displacement is provided with the push-pull gauge 2 for measuring the load by pushing with a gage head 21, and a height gauge 7 for measuring the vertical displacement of the push-pull gauge 2 by vertically moving the push-pull gauge 2. At the early stage of contact between the gauge head 21 and measurement object, the adapter part 3 is provided with the spring 33 interposed for enlarging the positional displacement for the load variation on the push-pull gauge 2 side.
