PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated film drying behavior measuring method for simultaneously measuring a mass change in drying a coated film formed on a sheet-like base material and a temperature change of a coated film surface, and a measuring instrument used for the measuring method. SOLUTION: An infrared heater of 1.5 to 3.0μm peak wavelength is used as a heating means. An electronic force balance is used as a mass change measuring means. An infrared radiation thermometer of 8 to 14μm measurement wavelength is used as a coated film surface temperature measuring means. The radiation thermometer has a minimum measured spot diameter of 1 cm or less and includes a stand for holding a specimen in the air. The stand has a pin receiving member made of silicon rubber or foam silicon rubber and capable of fixing the specimen with a pin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
