PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wrong operation of a head rest, and to prevent wrong operation even in the case wherein responsiveness to a low-speed rear collision is improved. SOLUTION: The vehicular seat 1 comprises a first sensor (a position detecting sensor 6) for detecting a rear collision of a vehicle when it is pushed by a body of an occupant sitting on the seat and a second sensor (an acceleration sensor 7) for detecting a rear collision of the vehicle based on the forward/backward acceleration of the vehicle inside a seat back 2. The head rest (a support portion 4A) is structured to be moved forward based on a detection signal when both the sensors detect a rear collision of the vehicle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
