PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively manufacture a powder sintered body of a ceramic or the like even when the product is produced in a small lot such as a biomaterial, or a product having a complicated shape because the designing does not require digitization for each product. SOLUTION: A first female die is prepared by using an original die having the same shape as a target powder sintered body, and a male die precursor made of an expandable resin is formed by using the first female die. Then, a second female die is prepared by using a foamed expanded male die made of the resin which is obtained by foam-expanding the male die precursor made of the expandable resin. Then, the powder sintered body is manufactured by sintering a molded body obtained by filling-molding a powder material into the second female die by this manufacturing method for the powder sintered body.
