<p>Disclosed is a hydraulic power generating system, wherein a plurality of water receiving plates are mounted on an elongated looped rail floating on the surface of water, causing rotation of the looped rail by hydraulic force. This kind of conventional hydraulic power generating system has a problem in that a plurality of water receiving plates mounted on a looped rail receive a deteriorated hydraulic force due to the presence of an upstream water receiving plate, resulting in low utilization of hydraulic force. To solve this problem, each water receiving plate has an arcuate cross section consisting of two arched segments, and a slot is formed at the center of the water receiving plate, to guide water toward the center of the water receiving plate. This configuration efficiently prevents hydraulic force, applied to the water receiving plate, from being dispersed and dissipated laterally, maximizing utilization of the hydraulic force of the water receiving plate.</p> |
