The arrangement has an evaluation device (18) including a N-dimensional calibration matrix (22), in which signal values of sensors (16, 17) are received in presence from different transverse gas concentrations (S1, S2). The evaluation device is formed to determine a concentration of a measuring gas component when measuring unknown concentrations of the measuring gas component in presence of unknown transverse gas concentrations by comparison of the received n-tuple of signal values with the signal values stored in the calibration matrix.
