The device (1) i.e. spectacle, has a retaining unit (3) arranged at a profile carrier (2) that is held at a carrier device (7). A holding unit (10) is fastened at a carrier frame (7a, 7b) for holding the profile carrier, where the holding unit is detachably fastened at the carrier frame. The holding unit is formed as a u-shaped holding clamp, which surrounds the carrier frame. The profile carrier is fastened at side pieces (10a, 10b) of the holding clamp.
